If you arrive in bastille via the ship the door is located after you drop down below after the first bonfire heading.

While it looks harmless the bastille has many explosive barrels and this is just one of them. Unlocks doors on either side of the entrance to the lost sinner. Cross the room and break the planks patching the hole in the wall. Unlocks the cell door next to straid of olaphis cell.

Travel to the shaded ruins bonfire then head to the hole near the basilisk to find the shard behind the locked door. At the top of the stair is a undead jailer who is just waiting to roll a barrel at you. From the courtyard you landed in enter the locked door by using the antiquated key which may be found earlier in the level in the room with many enemies closest to the tower apart bonfire.

Near the entrance leading to the courtyard. To get to sinners rise start from the bonfire in the servant s quarter of the lost bastille after you defeat the ruin sentinel. Of more concern is the large mummy at the top of the steps to the right. After entering the next courtyard enter the doorway on the left and climb the ladder.

Shooting the gaoler with an arrow will lead to him rolling the barrel down. From the bonfire go up the stairs head down the hallway and open.
